In 1996, he was appointed head of SIS Software Development & Technical Support. Two years later he left to form 2DB.

On the rare occasions when Steve’s not deep in the business of technology, he’s most likely to be found on a golf course working on his swing.

Angelo Sanzone
SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR

Angelo started out tending sheep for his late grandfather in a peasant mountain village in Southern Italy! However, he somehow found his way into the UK betting business. He has over 30 years experience in the industry.

His first role, with Ladbrokes, involved turning their less profitable shops into commercial successes. Next, at SIS, he worked closely with Jim & Steve in a customer-facing role. As the first Sales Manager at SIS, he contributed significantly to the success of the business. Then, as Regional Manager for London and South East, he oversaw the sales and service requirement of over 3,000 betting shops.

Since leaving SIS in 1999, Angelo has been involved in the property development side of the industry - first with Chase Bookmakers and then assisting Betfred with their rapid expansion plan.

Angelo joined 2DB in 2008 to head up sales and marketing for our growing business. His three daughters ensure that his hobbies are limited to DIY and fair weather cycling.
